Cutting-edge technology

The Boccato Dental Practice always uses state-of-the-art dental care equipment to ensure maximum results.

Hygiene and sterility are the watchwords of our dental practice.

THE PATIENT CAN PERSONALLY SEE that all the tools we use are bagged and sterile.

To verify that sterilization has taken place, the patient can see on the back of each pack the process indicator, that is the symbol behind every packaged instrument, which turns from pink (non-autoclaved tool, ie enveloped but not sterile) to brown ( which means that the instrument has been autoclaved, ie sterilized).

Anyone who undergoes treatment in our office can appreciate it.

Sterilization

For the protection of patients' health, all the material used is disposable (gloves, masks, needles, saliva ejector, etc.).
The non-disposable material (Handpieces, Turbines and Irons) follows a defined and controlled path to avoid any contamination and cross-infection.
. For this reason, the completion of the process takes place in two cycles carried out in two separate rooms according to international guidelines and rigid protocols:
1st Cycle carried out in room A Washing - Decontamination – Cleaning
2nd cycle in room B The instruments are sealed in special bags and sterilized in 2 class B autoclaves, the most sophisticated on the market today.

The operation of these machines is constantly monitored by physical, chemical and biological tests.
At the end of the procedure the instruments are absolutely sterile and the sealed packages are opened in front of the patient.

Radiography

Dental Radiography is considered one of the main diagnostic tests: it allows a complete view of the patient's dental anatomy and forms the basis on which to set up further investigations for the most scrupulous diagnostic needs. It constitutes one of the fundamental points of the diagnostic protocol of the treatment plan preliminary, allowing us to discover all those diseases of the stomatognatic apparatus that are not detectable in a precise manner during the objective examination.

It is a quick, non-invasive examination for the execution of which we use one of the most modern radiographic equipment for digital acquisition.

A digital radiographic system that provides a series of benefits for the patient:

- the dose of emitted and absorbed radiation is much lower than that of traditional systems.

- it is possible to evaluate the radiographic image with the computer that allows us to enlarge it, rotate it, observe it three-dimensionally, color it according to the density of the tissues, and measure the dimensions.

- an intraoperative check can be performed without the need for development and with results in real time.

Phosphorus radiology

Digital phosphor radiology - the latest generation - ensures that the patient is subjected to a minimum dose of radiation, with exposure to the same reduced by 90%.

Microscopy

The possibility of being able to visualize the operative field with magnifying systems is a necessary and essential requirement to offer the patients high quality performances that last over time. Fortunately nowadays technology provides highly sophisticated and precise means.

Anesthesia

The computerized anesthesia allows to apply without syringe the anesthetic liquid to the single tooth and in very low dosage. The flow of anesthetic is controlled by the computerized system: a drop every two seconds. The tissues have time to expand and the anesthesia is impeccable. Diffused between the tooth and the gum, it is completely painless and without that annoying tingling of the lips, cheek and tongue.

Intra-Oral Scanners

One of the most significant dental developments in recent times is the introduction of digital scanning techniques as an alternative to Silicon PVS printing. The new technology is more detailed and precise, which enables dentists to perfect their treatments.

The system is also more comfortable for patients, removing one of the traditional sources of discomfort when visiting a dental practice.

We use the 3Shape TRIOS scanner.

Laser

Dental laser technology is designed expressly for dental applications, such as cavity preparations, soft tissue surgeries, and much more.
